Ability to kill the game Argument
Although on the surface may seem as if the world of online poker in the U.S. is doing the rest of the world iGambling a major favor by leading the fight for the ban on online gambling rose, I beg to differ.

Although the right American would have us believe the argument revolves around ethics, in reality (where most of us live) nothing could be further from the truth, or more hypocrite. Thus, the debate is political in nature – pure and simple – and fueled by the protectionist bent safeguard their assets in land-based casino, the horse racing industry and state lottery monopolies.

The first step towards building a safer world, the regulated industry of online gambling is not a difference between gambling skill and luck-based, but rather through better regulation of banks. If banks, credit card companies and other financial institutions would just stop lending people more than they should – not to mention interest rates exorbitant – maybe we'd be getting somewhere.
